Ingredients

  • 1/2 or 3/4 c. rolled oats (not instant)
  • 1 T. chopped dates, raisins or dried fruit
  • 1 T. nuts like almonds, pecans or walnuts (source of omega-3 fatty acids)
  • rice milk (enough to cover the oats)

Pour oats, fruit and nuts into a container. Add rice milk to cover oat mixture completely. Soak overnight. In the morning, it will be ready to eat (hot or cold). For extras, add fresh fruit or ground flaxseeds in the morning.
