Homemade Hummus

(Serves 6-8)

Ingredients

  • 4 c. chickpeas
  • 1/2 c. tahini
  • 1/3 c. warm water
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice (2 or 3)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. black pepper


Blend all ingredients in a food processor until very creamy.
This is best when it has been refrigerated for a while and the flavors are well blended.
